Cookie Policy

How 1daily.ai uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you stay in control of them.

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies 1daily.ai uses, why we use them and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as your cookie choice) and help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, work in a comparable way; we use localStorage to remember your consent decision so the banner doesn't reappear on every visit.

Apart from strictly necessary technologies, we only set cookies after you have given your consent through our cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2: analytics and advertising storage are set to “denied” by default. You can choose “Accept all”, “Decline” (essential only), or “Manage preferences” to allow individual categories. We group cookies into three categories:

  • Essential: always active; required for the site to work and to remember your choice. Cannot be switched off.
  • Analysis: Google Analytics (controls analytics_storage).
  • Marketing: Google Ads (controls ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization).

You can change your decision at any time (see Section 6).

3. Essential

These are required for the website to function and to remember your privacy choice. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off.

4. Analytics: Google Analytics 4

Where enabled and with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to analyse site usage on a pseudonymous basis, for example which pages are viewed, approximate region and device type. This helps us improve the site. IP addresses are processed in truncated/anonymised form. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

5. Advertising: Google Ads & conversion tracking

Where enabled and with your consent, we use Google Ads with conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (for example, whether a visit followed one of our ads) and, where relevant, for remarketing. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited (and, where applicable, Google LLC, USA).

Note: Google may transfer data to the USA. We rely on appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Managing your choices

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page, which reopens the cookie banner. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings or block them entirely; some browser features may then be limited. For Google Analytics you can additionally install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The cookie names and storage periods above are typical values from the providers and may change. We update this policy as needed.
